Tim is from the frozen tundra Grand Rapids, Minnesota. While still embracing his Iron Range roots, he attended college at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree.
He attend and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI, which is known for having one of the more competitive first year classes, and was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 2006.
Tim practices in the areas of litigation, commercial/corporate law, criminal defense, and family law (including dissolution, child support and custody matters). He is a member of the Sixth District and the Minnesota State Bar Associations, and is licensed to practice throughout Southern Minnesota as well as the U.S. District Court – District of Minnesota.
Tim enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, hiking, sailing, snowmobiling and wakeboarding. He is also a life-long hockey player and fan, and is active in the community by serving as a youth hockey coach.
